Hong Kong’s silver screen queen Connie Chan of the 60s performed live at Arena of Stars

Hong Kong’s silver screen Queen Connie Chan of the 60s performed live on Saturday at the Arena of Stars. The night was full of glamour with Connie Chan , her son Dexter Young Tin-King,  songwriter, musical director and singer Anthony Lun and Alice Fun So Bo.

Aside from well known hits, she danced with a couple of contemporary numbers and appeared in Cantonese opera with Alice Fun So Bo. Connie Chan began her journey to the world of cantonese opera at the age of five and performed her very first time on stage at the age of nine. She then gain popularity from acting for more than 230 films, including martial arts flicks, traditional Cantonese opera and contemporary youth musicals.


During the midway of the concert her son Dexter Young came on stage for a duet with Connie and followed by a few solo numbers.


Alice Fun So Bo was also on stage for her solo segment and duet with Connie.


Connie was back on stage to sing and dance with a few contemporary dance songs with her bright yellow outfit.

During the encore Dexter was back on stage to sing a couple of classic TVB drama medleys before handing over the stage to her mum and Alice Fun So Bo for the Cantonese opera segment as the finale.
